11 Superior Taste Awards in Lidl products
For the second consecutive year, Lidl Cyprus products stand out for their taste excellence at the Superior Taste Awards

The International Taste Institute, through the impartial process of ‘blind testing’ and with the aim of promoting food and beverages of superior quality and taste worldwide, awarded 11 Superior Taste Awards to Lidl Cyprus products.
The tasting process was attended by renowned chefs and sommeliers, who through a strict methodology, promoted and awarded 1 and 2 taste stars to the following local products of Lidl Cyprus’ private label:
2 Stars:
• White mushrooms
• Pleurotous mushrooms
• Portobello mushrooms
• Taro root
• Baby taro root
• French fries
• Flat apples Lordika Pitsilias
• Farmhouse Smoked Lountza in slices
• Chef Select Chicken meatballs with halloumi and mint in a sesame crust
1 Star:
• Nashi pears Kyperounta
• Flat green apples Kathista Pitsilias
Once again, these new distinctions prove Lidl Cyprus’ commitment to providing products of excellent quality and superior taste, which it brings to its consumers’ dinning table on a daily basis.
