Lidl Cyprus named BRAND OF THE YEAR

Lidl Cyprus stood out by winning a total of 6 awards in this year's CYPRUS DIGITAL MARKETING AWARDS.

Although 2020 was a peculiar and difficult year, Lidl Cyprus managed to meet its challenges, stand by its consumers and employees, and strengthened its substantially and online communication.

From the beginning of the year, Lidl Cyprus responded to the new circumstances in multiple ways, a fact that distinguished it at this year's Digital Marketing Awards as the Brand of the Year - the brand for the most innovative and effective actions in the field of Digital Marketing for 2020.

This distinction complements a number of equally important additional distinctions, a result of Lidl Cyprus’ very close and successful cooperation with the advertising company Gnomi Integrated Communications, seeing as together, they managed to keep the already high performance of digital communication channels and strengthen the brand's online presence in creative ways.

The success of its actions was recognised with 3 Golden Awards in the categories

  • Best Use of Video in Social Media,
  • Best Digital Multi-Channel Campaign and
  • Βest Omnichannel Campaign (including non-Digital) for the ‘It’s not a Fairytale’ campaign  

As well as 3 Silver Awards in the categories

  • Best of Facebook Family of Apps-Communication,
  • Best Social Media Strategy for Sales and
  • Best Use of Influencers.
