Recognizing the importance of our wider impact on the national economy and employment, we wanted to measure our direct and indirect contribution, for the years 2011 & 2019, by preparing the third consecutive socio-economic report.

The purpose of the report is to identify and evaluate the socio-economic effects of our 10-year operation in Cyprus. As a reference point, we use the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) of our accountability and strategy. Findings concerning added value, employment, payment of taxes and contributions to the Republic of Cyprus are presented in detail with the use of indicators in the relevant link below.

With transparency and objectivity, we address all stakeholders of Lidl Cyprus, as well as interested social, and economic organizations, to form a comprehensive perception of the economic and social value we create in Cyprus.
