Lidl at the Grassroots CFA 2019 Pancyprian Fiesta of children’s football academies

Once again Lidl Cyprus stands by young footballers and their families
 

Lidl Cyprus made quite an impression at this year's Grassroots CFA 2019 Pancyprian Fiesta of Children's Football Academies, which was held on 24 May at Nuevo Campo in Nicosia, and aimed at reinforcing the promotion of the values espoused by football and sports in general, especially when aimed at children.

Through games and activities that were specially designed for children and their families, Lidl once again stood by its customers, offering them opportunities to join in some creative fun and filling them with joy.

At the venue of the great Grassroots CFA 2019 event, which was held by the CFA and the POCF (Pancyprian Organisation of Cattle Farmers), and involved the participation of 70 football academies from every corner of Cyprus, Lidl had the chance to offer a variety of games and group activities during which children played with each other, thus recognizing the value of participation and fair play.

During this year's Grassroots CFA 2019 Pancyprian Fiesta of Children's Football Academies, at least 3000 people visited the Nuevo Campo premises, thus contributing to the success of this great sports event which enhances the spirit of sport and disseminates its values. Lidl was there, handing out smiles to children. 

As an official nutrition sponsor, Lidl Cyprus’ sponsorship of Cypriot Football includes, in addition to financial support, a series of actions aiming to ensure the excellent nutrition of football players in the championship, as well as of young players in the academies. The Lidl Food Academy, as well as its scientific collaborators, will offer the knowledge, methods and products required to ensure that these athletes’ families enjoy a proper and balanced diet. By visiting football academies and teams, Lidl sends out messages on how to follow a balanced diet to young footballers, while also conveying its passion for football to its customers.
