Lidl Detox Commitment In December 2014 Lidl was the first food retailer to take part in Greenpeace’s Detox Campaign. Lidl has the aim of completely eliminating the use of 11 chemical groups, which Greenpeace has defined as forbidden, in the production of its own textile and shoe brands by 2020, or replacing them with safe substances.
