Sustainability is part of our DNA, and we take our interaction with people and the environment very seriously. We work methodically and strive to identify potential for improvement and development of procedures and practices to facilitate clear traceability of products and allow us to vouch for their quality and safety. We invest in localisation and select products with recognised sustainability certifications labels. This way we help our customers make responsible consumer choices as well.

Environmental responsibility at centre stage

Protecting the environment is a particularly sensitive issue for Lidl Cyprus and carries special weight. Our goal is to translate our environmental sensitivities to best practices for the environment and to apply them to the entire spectrum of our activities. We reduce packaging, recycle materials and reduce energy use. We invest in new technologies, install energy-efficient options and fund environmental actions.
