OUR VISION

Responsible entrepreneurship is a core principle of our operations, as we take on our fair share of responsibility toward people and the natural environment. We work every day to reduce our environmental impact by implementing specific corporate due diligence and social responsibility practices.

Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we have identified the key issues for Lidl Hellas and for shaping our Corporate Responsibility Strategy (ESG). Our strategy incorporates measurable values and responsible business practices, focusing on the following five areas:

We offer high-quality products

We apply strict selection and inspection criteria to our products to ensure they meet high standards of quality and safety. We work methodically to ensure traceability at every stage of the value chain. We invest in local products and offer options that carry recognized, independent certifications (such as Fairtrade, EU Organic, FSC, MSC, ASC).

Environmental Protection in Action

Protecting natural resources is a priority for Lidl Greece. We are committed to implementing specific measures to reduce our environmental footprint across all our operations. We’re reducing the use of plastic in packaging, increasing the use of recycled materials, and cutting energy consumption through LED systems and solar panels. We invest in low-emission technologies and support local environmental initiatives.

Long-term partnerships are the cornerstone of a transparent and efficient supply chain, ensuring the high quality of our products.
