Cyprus Red Cross cooperation with Lidl Cyprus

Care and support for our fellow humans are essential components of building a healthy society. Lidl Cyprus, in collaboration with the Anticancer Society of Cyprus, actively supports initiatives that promote care, respect for dignity, and quality of life for individuals affected by cancer. Through these actions, Lidl Cyprus contributes to the operational needs of the "Arodafnousa" Palliative Care Center and strengthens support programs for patients. Together, we create a better future for everyone by providing care and assistance to those in need.

Collaboration with AKTH Centre for Studies and Research

Solidarity with the environment is the duty of all of us. In order to protect the environment, LidlCyprus, in cooperation with the AKTI Research and Study Centre, implements actions that promote sustainability and the reduction of plastic waste. Through this cooperation, thousands of children from all over Cyprus have the opportunity to participate in educational programmes that enhance their environmental awareness and cultivate respect for nature. At the same time, through beach clean-up activities and the Project Zero programme, we are shaping a more sustainable future for all of us.

The Cyprus Red Cross, with its mission to alleviate human suffering and promote social solidarity, plays a critical role in supporting vulnerable groups in our society. Through humanitarian actions such as providing food, medical assistance, and psychological support, it actively contributes to improving the quality of life for those in need. The collaboration between Lidl Cyprus and the Cyprus Red Cross enhances this effort by providing additional resources and support for various initiatives. Together, they aim to create a better tomorrow for all, promoting the values of solidarity and social responsibility.

Collaboration with Junior Achievement Cyprus

With their creativity and perseverance, children come up with ideas that change the world. But what can they do with just an idea? That's what Lidl Cyprus, in collaboration with Junior Achievement Cyprus, helps them to explore and discover! From 2021, the mindREset programme gives primary and secondary school students the opportunity to participate in an experiential educational experience where they are encouraged to think of creative ideas to protect the environment and develop them into green businesses.
